meaning if we're going to do it, we should give it until the time of the sim tomorrow to get the majority number of votes

I HAVE NO IDEA WHATS GOING ON won't really affect you, the Bucks will have a 25% shot regardless

basically it sounds like a proven 100% way the NBA does the lotto and you get to know your selection way earlier than normal for some minimal work Jo is willing to do.
amiright?

I HAVE NO IDEA WHATS GOING ON won't really affect you, the Bucks will have a 25% shot regardless every team will have the same shot with both methods

that site is based on the 2008 lottery odds. So basically, 3rd and 5th would get screwed, and 4th and 6th would benefit. Even though 3rd-6th odds are completely up for grabs right now and will be based on tomorrow, we should probably just wait and do it based on the sim records imo

The lotto is the same odds every year, he would just be placing our teams in as Nets, Sixers etc... and using the NBA's lotto system to simulate instead of an unknown unproven system in FBB. How could someone be against this?
Or am I understanding this wrong?

it does, but it compensates for ties. The odds on that site don't correlate with the 2010 odds, otherwise Golden State and Washington would have the same odds or one slightly more than the other. The actual odds on that site are based off of 2008, when the 3rd and 4th teams, as well as the 5th and 6th teams, had the same records.

we should be using the odds from 2001/2002. I don't know what those are, but that should be what we use if there is any difference.
I am not real sure what the difference is or why this even being asked (because I am not sure how it is different) but I vote "no" just because I don't really understand. Only timing is what seems off, but I am not sure what that really affects.

I like the idea but I don't want it enforced if it's not an overwhelming pick.

I like the idea but I don't want it enforced if it's not an overwhelming pick. Without a doubt. We could meet have way and I could sim past playoffs, run the lotto from the game, post the results, and then use those results after we finish the playoffs. I really want to find a way to get the lotto done before Playoffs to allow teams a fair chance to trade and look for trades. I never liked how we did that in the past and speaking with Matt he had the same ideas.
