I wasn't saying Monta would be a top 10, I just said he was one of the best NBA PGs IRL. I'm assuming his ratings would be similar to a solid scoring SG with above average handles and low ratings on D and Reb.
And I'm not tanking. I play my best players every sim, I'm not trying to trade away good players so I drop, I try to win, I have every year. My team just sucks and I've been unable to land a superstar in the draft. I got Jefferson last year and hopefully he pans out but other than that... Artest sucks, J Rich ended up sucking, Randolph seems to have peaked... What makes you think I'm tanking?

You guys forget we usually go by the potential guys had coming out. Not what they did in the NBA. I held Monta back, cause I wanted to say he did good at Mississippi State and the scouts liked him more, yada yada yada.
This is a case where you guys are letting names effect things, kinda why I was big on fake names a few weeks ago.
I screwed you guys with CP3, sorry... but I'm not changing it. He won't be in the class and people shouldn't expect guys to be locked up for certain classes going forward.

Just saying if the guys gonna be a top 3 pick he would most likely come out, I prolly wasn't even gonna get cp3. I just think things should b consistent

I had no control over the last 3 classes for declarations. Not sure why you guys keep bringing that up for consistency.

Well u just did this on ur own though, didnt announce it until midway through the season. It's not that big of a deal I just don't kno what to expect down the road now. IRL did cp3 almost not come out? Cuz he was the 3rd overall pick, i doubt that guy stays if I were up to him and not u. This off season we need to come up with a way to make decisions that everyone or most agree on, not just what 1 person thinks. You're doing a great job with everything else Poe, an amazing job actually, this one thing could just be improved IMO

He was 4th pick. But this is fantasy, we're free to do things how we want. Don't have to follow everything to the tee.
I'm not doing this for my benefit or any hidden agenda, it's purely to mix things up. I have no intentions of coming up with a system to decide this. Just going to decide yearly how I want it to go.
If people truly have a problem with this, I have no problem giving up control of this league and starting my 1990 one in a couple months where I am only commish and have full control of these decisions.

poe, you're doing a great job and we don't mean to insult you as commish.
We're just saying, we would have at least liked to have some sort of announcement, or hint, or player profiles saying "rumor is CP3 might stay," or SOMETHING to let us know about this new "I'm gonna mix things up" draft ruling.
That's why most of us are so pissed- we were blindsided by this.

While I understand it caught you guys off guard. We've already had so many mix ups previously. Like Carmelo joining the 2002 class, Boozer and Dunleavy withdrawing. Horford last year. 2003, everyone was like "who's gonna be the guy to not declare?" from the big 3. Then Matt forgot about it and did an "Everyone declares!" last second thread.
I would have mixed it up last year too, but Matt PM'd me and 20 last minute that he didn't have time to finish the profiles and we just rushed to get the class done.
I started off pretty small, 1 major guy withdrawing and 1 major guy coming in. I didn't blindside you guys with massive changes.
