Strength's
Deng is a talented wing that can slash and score at will and also sets up his own team for dimes when hes not open. He was also a terrific shooter for a player so raw as a freshman at Duke. Can also defend really well both the SF and SG spots.
Weakness
Deng still needs to work on his outside jump shot and being able to create his own shot off the dribble. At times can get into foul trouble on defense as he tries to play has pressing defense and can get caught for fouls.
Scout's Take
Deng is a TMBSL Scout's dream for this class. He was the second prized recruit for the 2003 class and the only player above him was LeBron James and to some people in the business the gap wasn't very wide.
Deng can do a lot of things well and his ceiling is off the charts. Might take a few years to develop and become the true player he could be but if he gets his looks he could be a top 20 player in the league for awhile.
