Strength's
Childress is a smooth player who is great at slashing to the hoop and finishing. Talented and long Childress is a machine in the paint and scoring points. His length is also a plus on defense as he was a terror all year long as a junior.
Weakness
Childress lacks an outside game for a small forward but he's not really shown it either nor needed to so far. He is also really skinny and his defensive abilities could be limited against bigger small forwards.
Scout's Take
You name the team or award and Childress was either part of the squad or in the running if he didnt win the award. Terrific junior year that saw him win the P10 player of the year award. Very athletic and still hitting the peak of his improvement period. Could be a big boom or bust pick if there ever was one in the top 10.
