News has quickly come from Commish Matt's office about the multiple rumors that were posted earlier this week.
"I am here to talk about the rumors that have been running rampant through the league and to address any questions that have arose."
First and foremost the question about Dumptime and his status as the GM and president of the Dallas Mavericks.
"It's come to my attention Dump has been asking for help via trades and while he's had trade issues and even warnings from my office I've not seen one request come my way for insight and help. I've felt like while I may not post in the shoutbox much during the day I have made myself available to help plenty of times. Because of this reason Dump's ability to ask for help has been removed and I am also lifting his trade warnings. For now the seat Dump sits on for 23 hours a day is safe."
Next Matt addressed the rumors about NBA agents getting involved with an amateur player.
"I am very very disappointed in our team's scouts and the actions they have been doing with players at the college and high school level."
Matt would single out RV12 for his actions trying to coax high school senior Al Horford into declaring for the draft at a time ideal for the Pistons to have Horford replace Duncan's starting spot when he moves Duncan to center after trading Zo.
"It has come to my attention that RV not only understands how to turn away ohhaithur trades but he's also been involved in coaxing non TMBSL players into his franchise. Because of this involvement and the money issued via western union Al Horford has been deemed ineligible for the NCAA clearing house and will thus be required to enter the 2004 TMBSL draft."
"While the addition of Al Horford to the draft class will certainly make it a stronger class I am afraid Horford might not be ready to play at this level and he needed time to get better at Florida.
Sources to the Detroit Free Press have also reported that Billy Donnavan has hired hit men on RV12 for fucking up his planned three-peat at the NCAA level.
Matt later went on to address the talk of drafting players and what options GMs have available to them.
"Jayrish hit gold in drafting Darko Milicic and I am told he's progressed well this early into his time overseas. Because of this development a lot of GMs have requested TMBSL work with teams overseas and trying to find a way to stash drafted players overseas to get better instead of using them rot on the bench."
Matt would then have his stripper sectaries issue out the guidelines which stated:
1. Any team may have up to 2 players stashed overseas.
-If GM chooses to stash a player he must wait 3 years after first stash.
2. Only 2 stashes can be used every 5 years.
3. GM chooses how many years to stash overseas with a minimum of 1 and a max of four years.
4. If a player goes overseas their contracts will need to be negotiated with GM and Agent upon return.
-The quicker the return the less money is required and if GM chooses to wait full 4 years the GM will be forced to accept offer presented by player or let him walk.
5. Once over-seas a player will have a higher chance to improve but it isn't a promise they will get better.
7. Rights to players can be traded.
8. The same structure of Darko's chances to improve will be used, 1-10 correspond with ratings. Matt will present you the ratings upon return of player.
9. If GM chooses to not sign player player becomes UFA.
10. Matt has final say on all issues.
Last but not least Matt has been informed some older players have presented themselves with the request to return to the TMBSL either near the trade deadline or starting next free agent. To allow these players safe haven from the media and crazy agents of the TMBSL GM's the names will be withheld till they choose to come forth.
Once they present themselves to the league their contract demands will be presented.
