ATLANTA -- Supersonics starting small forward, Stephen Jackson, was taken into custody Wednesday night outside an Atlanta night club following an altercation involving two other men where Jackson reportedly pulled out a loaded gun. No shots were fired, and Jackson was released on $50,000 bond.
The incident came just hours after the Sonics lost to the Atlanta Hawks 105-85 in which Jackson was ejected and seen making gestures toward the Atlanta fans as he exited the arena.
"This place is a hole. These people can't lick the (expletive) off my shoe. (Expletive) Atlanta!" Jackson said in a post-game interview.
The Atlanta District Attorney has yet to finalize the list of charges for Mr. Jackson.
"The Actions displayed by Stephen Jackson on Wednesday night are inexcusable and were a huge embarrassment to our league." said TMBSL commissioner Matt in a statement.
