Strength's
Cook has gotten better on the offensive floor every year in college. He arrived to college athletic and a solid base and is leaving with an inside AND an outside game for a big man. Shown in college Cook can hit the three ball with proper time to set himself up. He's also a smart defender who won't get faked out by pump fakes and the like. High IQ.
Weakness
Cook is very smart on defense for a reason. He's not going to be an athlete that will wow you. He's not like last year's crop of PF's in Nene or Amare where they out jump or muscle or athletic you for the ball. Concerns are starting to come up about potential.
Scout's Take
Cook is a great college player who's shown every single year he can get better. His freshman year it was playing better defense. Sophomore year developing a low post game. Junior year developing an outside shot. Senior year taking the level of being a good college player to a great player. has the talent to be something special some scouts believe. Other scouts however think he's not going to amount to much at the next level.
