Strength's
Barbosa is something of an interesting player. He's very raw on the scoring abilities. His shot needs work and his length on his shot is also in need of work. However what makes him so interesting is the fact that he will instantly become one of if not the fastest players in the league. Because of that speed he can get to the hoop before you'd expect for an open lay up. He also has a 6'10 wingspan and has a great eye for jumping into the passing lanes.
Weakness
What position will Barbosa play at the next level is perhaps the biggest question mark. He needs to work on his turnover prone issues if he wants to play point. If he wants to play shooting guard he will need to get better with on ball defense since he's only 6'3 and his ability to shoot will need some fine tuning.
Scout's Take
Barbosa is this year's biggest boom or bust pick in the draft. Right now he doesn't have the talent to warrant a top 13 pick and even mid teens can be viewed as a reach. That said if he is given some training camps and develops properly he could be the steal of the draft. Position he plays will depend on the molding of the GM that drafts him.
