I just think it is another thing changing what the league's purpose is supposed to be. Yeah i understand but seriously people want to get this league started so we made a small change that has zero affect on the league. Nobody knew this option was available so that wasn't factored in the trades.. Like I said I am sure after this FA period everything will be done to the T |

No but it rewards people who have already used a strategy to trade away picks and end up with less than 12 players. Ok please explain to me once more how trading away your picks and having less players is a better strategy... So I can shoot down your ridiculous way of thinking and so you can stfu for good. You just made the comment that these are players that wouldn't play anyway. If they do then certain people are rewarded by not having anything to do or responsibilities and get players first. Even if they don't play then people get them for league minimum instead of having to bid on them, give them more years, or have players decide on where they go. It basically adds an unequal draft process. If nothing else they should absolutely have to have the 2 year contracts at $1.5 million. |

Exactly. Especially because you will get them cheap. No bidding, just free rein. Basically it is adding a draft process for people that didn't get to 12 or want to fill out their IR. Except there is no lottery and they just pick who they want. No clue what other kind of structure it will have at this point. |
