The place I took it to wants to charge $249 for data recovery and an extra $99 if it works. They can do a basic one with software for $100 but my friend ran a software program so I'm not too sure about that.
I spent too much yesterday for a new rig, just don't have the money for it right now.
My thing would be to start the 1990 league I guess. Sorry.

Maybe you guys should do 1-4 rounders with 2 year deals, and the other guys with 1 year deals. FA would be pretty insane with everything trying to fill a full roster...heh

Can your new PC still run a new league? I think best option for us moving forward is still having u as commish regardless of whether we want to start the 90s league or restart this season etc.

I think we need to structure the contracts something like this:
1st round: 3 years $5.0 mil per year
2nd round: 3 years $4.5 mil per year
3rd round: 2 years $4.0 mil per year
4th round: 2 year $3.5 mil per year
5 - 13: decreasing amout 1 year contracts. Doesn't have to be .5 less per year but they should only be 1 year contracts that way we have a significant amount of FAs after the 1st season but we will still be able to have our key players for a couple of seasons. If we just make everyone have 1 year contracts the creation draft is almost pointless, we might as well just do a creation FA period... which would be dumb IMO.

3 years or longer deals make the league entirely too dead in the first few FA I don't think so, the 1st FA was, ok yeah, but there were some solid 3rd and 4th round guys that were in that 1st somewhat big FA. If we make all the contracts too short, we won't have anything to build around. Also, if we put everyone on 1 or 2 year deals in year 3 and 4 there wont be anyone in FA. We really need to have rounds 1 & 2 on 4 year deals, 3 - 4 on 3 year deals, and 5 - 6 on 2 and the rest on 1 year deals. That way we have significant FAs every offseason and all the creation players will be on real contracts for the 1st rookie FA class. You may not like it ian but we have to restart and we might as well do it right if we're going to do it at all. |

You guys just need to come up with a way to make the creation draft run more smoothly. The draft was a nightmare for 20 and myself.
