Age-20 Height- 6'7 Weight- 220 Position-SF StrenghtsButler comes from a storied program of scorers and Butler is the next in line to be that great UCONN scorer in the NBA. Unlike Ray Allen who is still fresh in our minds of UCONN lore Butler does his dirty work in the mid-range game and in the paint. He uses his strength to over power his defender when attacking the hoop and is also a great rebounder and on ball defender. WeaknessButler battles a weight issue and because of that his lateral quickness isn't going to be the best and he also will have a tough time guarding some of the elite of elite players. He also has a troubled past getting arrested 15 times by the time he was 15 and is a known drug dealer. There is some concern if he can be a cancer to a lockeroom. Scout's TakeButler can score and can certainly defend despite his weight and quickness issues. I like the fact he can come in right away and in day one be a 14/6 type rookie. He has a high ceiling but he must stay underweight and not get lazy. If he can work his tail off the next few years he could become an all-star. I'd rate him as a top 10 player in this draft.
