Atlanta Hawks
"I can change your life, bring her into Juice's world" After a stellar Training Camp, it's safe to say that the future of the Atlanta Hawks rests solely on the shoulders of one OJ Mayo. "We took 3 shots now we doin it again" With Mayo, Michael Redd, and Peja Stojakovic, this Hawks team should be one of the most potent long distance shooting teams we've ever seen in TMBSL.
Charlotte Eastern Conference Powerhouse Hornets
"I like my dick sucked fast, I like to play with them rookies, I like to fuck em in the ass while he beat up the pussy" While I can't speak for the Eastern Conference Powerhouse Hornets GM's matters behind closed doors, whispers around the league persist that he takes his friendship with #1 pick Kevin GOAT sim league player Durant so seriously he's willing to share women in addition to money with the youngster. And there are many rookies on this team with promising futures. "James Bond, Jackie Chan, and that bitch McGyver" This line's only significance is that the Eastern Conference Powerhouse Hornets also feature one of the league's biggest bitches, Coby Karl.
Chicago Bulls
"Everyday its been the same old thing on my block". Another year, another round of trade offers and negotiations for Bulls GM Bankz. This season he's once again attempting to move Kevin Garnett and his contract. "That's me dawg, on my block, i had to play the big shot" It must be frustrating seeing many of the superstars traded away by Bankz move on to bigger and better things for other franchises, but with only a small handful of players on contract past this season, Bankz will have the opportunity to perform yet another roster overhaul.
Cleveland Cavaliers
"Sail away sail away sail away" Much like this particular song, the Cavs roster is pretty boring. It's certainly not the worst roster assembled, but they find themselves trapped in the mid-lotto purgatory I mentioned previously. Marbury and Brand are both good players, but its doubtful Cleveland sees those 2 as catalysts to a championship in the future. It may be time for the Cavs to either part with those 2, or deal some of their youngsters and picks to make a true run.
Detroit Pistons
"Never did I want to be here again, and I don't remember why I came" Should we even bother chronicling the moves made in the offseason by the Pistons? Each year they seem to add another talented piece to the puzzle, yet they can't break through the glass ceiling that is the upper echelon in the Eastern Conference. Many are starting to seriously believe in the trade voodoo put on Detroit after the Tim Duncan heist. "I'm comin back again!" With the sheer amount of upside found on the Pistons, it may be time for rv12 to try and reverse the curse with a trade that will somehow mutually benefit both him and the other owner.
Indiana Pacers
"ARRIBA ARRIBA ARRIBAARRIBA!" While i'm not sure what any of the lyrics to this particular song mean, much like this YouTube video, the success of the Pacers falls on the shoulders of a miniature Mexican. Another team locked into 2 big-contract players, Carmelo Anthony will be the face of this franchise for the foreseeable future, but if Guillermo Diaz builds upon his electrifying rookie campaign, this team could reach new heights. "Don't you dare take my burritooooooooo" This team will need frontcourt help in a hurry after this season if Okafor bolts.
Milwaukee Bucks
"It's a new dawn, its a new day, its a new life....and i'm feeling good" While many took issue with the blockbuster trade Trofie made to acquire Chris Paul, after a very positive training camp, it's hard to criticize the numerous moves made to change the culture of a team still haunted by Eric Chenowith. With Sheed, Griffin, Sefolosha, and Prince, this team looks to be one of the better defensive squads in the East. Additionally, while Kevin Love may not log many minutes behind Sheed and Griffin, he's one of the more desirable trade assets in the East. "Oh freedom is mine, and i know how i feel"
Toronto Raptors
"I'm ridin solo, i'm ridin solo" What happened to the days of the Raptors being an Eastern Conference juggernaut? Seems like just yesterday, Kobe Bryant was on top of TMBSL with Michael Jordan and the other vets. You don't have to be Terrell Brandon to be depressed about the state of the Raptors. It'd be pretty outrageous to deal the Black Mamba, but with other teams in the East sporting stacked squads, could it be time for Soup to part with Kobe in hopes of landing tons of 1st rounders or youngsters who could possibly blossom into the next Celtics? It's a question he will have to answer. Until then Kobe will have to ride solo.
