I will be compiling a roster of the most Under-performing players(in regards to attributes to production)
Omar Cook PG
Omar was originally a second round pick in the Creation draft . Original Bucks owner was pulling names out of hat and was granted Omar Cook.
Inside Scoring: C
Outside Scoring: C
Handling: A-
Defense: A-
Rebounding: D-
Potential: C
Omar has digressed as of late but his original Potential was a B and his Handling at one point was solid peaking at A. His attributes would lead you to believe he was the Marcus Camby of Point guards but he's far off. As a 3 year starter on the Bucks he never shot better than .410 which isn't surprising . But he also never dished more than 6.6 assists in his career. Its apparent now that the inability of Cook led to the downfall of 1st round pick in the creation draft for the Bucks. They went together like Lamb and tunafish.
RIP Chenowith.
Michael Finley. Sg
Michael Finley was a 4th round pick in the creation draft. At the time it looked like solid selection and put out a solid Rookie Sim campaign .
Inside Scoring: B-
Outside Scoring: B-
Handling: C+
Defense: B+
Rebounding: C-
Potential: C
This is a classic case of runs like Mays but hits like shit. Finley was granted with A- defense and was given run at a couple positions but can't ever stick. Once with B+ outside shooting and B inside he looked like perennial 15 ppg player(at the least) . And he actually hit that threshold once. He looks to be on the downside of his career now and this lineup will probably be the only one he will ever crack again. His spot in this lineup isn't because he was totally pathetic like Omar Cook , but because It looked like he could have been a much more productive player. Similar to Eddie Jones.
Darius Miles SF
Darius Miles was an early third round pick in the Creation Draft. The picture above of consists of Omar Cook and Darius Miles. Perhaps they were planning to conspire to be total pieces of shit together before entering the league. Both former McDonald All-Americans may find themselves teaming up once again behind a grill near you.
Inside Scoring: B+
Outside Scoring: C-
Handling: C
Defense: A-
Rebounding: C+
Potential: B
Miles inability to hit an outside shot has clearly hurt his development. In 488 career games Darius has taken 48 three pointers. He has been given starter minutes in 4 of his 6 career years in the sim league. Peaking at 11 ppg. Surprisingly he also can't shoot free throws either. Perhaps if his owners would have +5'd his outside shooting 10-20 times he would have turned out to be something.
Nene PF
Pretty much the only thing you need to know about Nene is that when Googled. He is apparently the 2nd most popular person with the name. Behind W2D's booty-call from Real Housewives of Atlanta. Also you can bet that somewhere Kevin Garnett is pointing and laughing at Nene due to his lack of white blood cells.
Inside Scoring: B-
Outside Scoring: D+
Handling: D+
Defense: B+
Rebounding: A-
Potential: B
Nene isn't here because he is totally unproductive. He is at this spot because in regards to his attributes he isn't up to snuff. He would seem like a decently well rounded big man but if you look deeper into the numbers he struggles. Nene has been given starter minutes on 4 different teams. I would say his most productive year was in fact his rookie year. While only putting up 7 ppg he grabbed 10 boards and shot pretty well considering the fact its Nene. While he had a decent stay in Chicago he shot .414% in two full years. A career under 60% free throw shooter who also has only reached 1 block per game once in his career. Not really what you look for in a big.
Tyson Chandler C
This was a tough decision almost went Haywood here also was thinking about Diop
Chandler was a 3rd round creation draft pick. And also spent time teaming up with Omar Cook in Milwaukee
Inside Scoring: B-
Outside Scoring: D
Handling: C
Defense: A-
Rebounding: A-
Potential: B
The only thing lofty about Tyson Chandler is his contract. Once with A potential he looked like a budding star. His best season was by far his 3rd year in the league. With the Bucks he posted up at 13 ppg and 9.5 rebounds per. He has also been +4 and +5'd in career resulting in nothing. That GM must feel like a dumb-ass. The thing that really holds Chandler back is his lack of offensive skills and a brain(the scarecrow laughs at Tyson). He has shot .432% over his career and went to the Nene school of Free throw shooting hitting .559%. He's often seen bragging about how he's blown Breathalyzers higher than that.
Top 5 most overachieving players
C- Raef LaFrentz - Heat
PF- Ryan Humphrey- Lakers
Sf-Julius Hodge- Clippers(can play Sg as well)
Sg-Richard Hamilton- Trailblazers
Pg- Tj Ford(when starting)- Grizzlies
