1st rounder (2003).. pending lottery pick until 2007 (not sure how to officially say that)

1st rounder (2003), if lotto, heat get my 2004 lotto protected. If lotto, heat get my 2005 lotto protected. etc until 2007, where heat get my 2007 unprotected.

I think what they mean is: starting from 2003, he'll take the pick only if its in the lotto, if not the Raptors draft normally. That will continue until 2007, where if the Raptors STILL haven't reached the lotto, the Heat will just take the 1st rounder in 07 regardless of lotto
