you had Zo for 15 sim days and you already got rid of him after getting rid of basically all your 1st round picks and Nene. and you got back one of the worst contracts in the sim league in KG

I wanted to make sure I had someone for the next 5 years.
ZO may only be around to the end of the 07 year. If that is the case my 08 pick would be a lotto pick and I don't have it. If ZO retires at the end of this year both my 07 and 08 picks would be lotto's and I don't have either.
So I take on KG who's contract at the end is not the best. But for the next 3 years its fine.
I still clear 10m in cap space next year so signing Beeds, Horford and Livingston wont be a issue moving forward.

I just think the key is that you could have skipped the Zo part and dealt a ton of expirings for KG. Probably saved yourself Nene and a 1st.

How did you clear cap space?
you took on the same amount of money. The only way you cleared cap space is IF Zo retires after this year.

Well I had no Idea KG was on the market till this evening.
But yes that would of been a much better route. I guess I fucked up thinking ZO was going to be the only legit difference maker on the market.
