This was a tough choice, but I decided his youth and production make him the biggest asset among other Free Agents . His versatility at the 1 and 2 give him a boost as well. I still think he fits better as a pg. What I would like to see from him is improvement on shot selection. His shooting Numbers dropped switching positions and so did his ability to share the ball. He shot nearly 7 three pointers per game last year but did hit at a pretty decent rate. He also improved his Free throw shooting immensely.
2.Tim Duncan

Grades
A- C C A A- CThe Second spot to me , was up for grabs between Duncan, Garnett, and Curry. The reason I went Duncan was because he shoots a higher percentage from the Field and the line, and he doesn't try to antagonize much Smaller Foreigners. His ability at the Charity Stripe is surprising and rare to me from someone who struggles with touch at times. He was able to put up very good numbers across the board with other stars , which bodes well for him. If you can co-exist with Iverson you deserve a bonus.

KG is a tough read because it seems he just doesn't live up to his Graded Potential. Many thought at first it was a product of being with so many great players in Atlanta. But then he was traded to San Antonio and slightly better numbers ensued but I still think he could do much more. His ratings should stay steady enough that he will still be a very productive players way into his 30's. Pair him up with a solid Pg and I think you could have a 28 point scorer on the block.
4. Eddy Curry
C 7'0'' 285 22
Grades
B+ D C- A- B+ A
Curry is a very young and talented Big man in this league. In a free Agency that has a surplus of bigs he is one of the only under the age of 25 that can hold down a franchise for along time.(if his heart allows). His numbers aren't what you would expect from someone of his skill-set but I expect that to rise with age/experience. I would be willing to bet a lot of Owners will go 6 years on a Max contract. But he will likely see a 7th year from the Trailblazers.
5. Shaquille O'neal
C 7'1'' 330 33
Grades
A D+ C A A- D
If I were to set age aside, I would have put Shaquille #1 on my list. His productivity is pretty much unmatched from his position as Alonzo has retired. If your team is in Win now mode you can't go wrong. He should stay steady for a couple more years at least. If Alonzo can do it with one Kidney that late in his career one would thing Shaq could with two. He should probably see a couple Max Contracts coming his way regardless of age.
6. Tracy McGrady
SF 6'8'' 215 26
Grades
A- B B A- C+ C
Tracy was able to get out of the first round for the first time in his career over the past couple seasons. Still a young , but maybe maxed out player he will provide scoring with solid defense. His numbers this past year dropped Dramatically in the scoring area, but one could only expect that with the talent that surrounded him. He could be a hot commodity in this market as one of the only under 29 true scorers.
7.Jason Kidd
PG 6'4'' 212 32
Grades
B- B A+ A+ C C
His wife isn't the only thing that Jason beats with regularity. Opposing Pg's aren't excited to see J-kidd either. There isn't a better ball handling and defending Point Guard in the league. He's not going to come out and shoot lights out very often, but what you can expect is a routine double double with great rebounding numbers as well. But he isn't getting any younger. He would fit great on a team with other stars as he doesn't need the ball to dominate. I wouldn't think Owners would have a problem throwing the Max at him , even if it takes a couple extra years.
8.Steve Francis
PG 6'3'' 193 28
Grades
B B+ A- A- C C
Steve is another interesting case. I think he fits better as a scorer on a team , as opposed to a distributing Pg. His numbers have dropped over 7 ppg over the past 2 seasons . The knicks have gotten better but the PG production has went down dramatically. He's almost a 2 playing the 1. I think a younger team could benefit from a scoring 1. I don't think he fits to well on a veteran team. I would rather have a Travis Best type PG.
9.Ray Allen
SG 6'5'' 205 30
Grades
B- A B+ B C C
Ray Allen is the best outside shooter available in this upcoming F/A class. He suffered the same fate as Steve Francis did as a Knick. Not enough opportunities. The ball was taken out of his hands over the course of the season and that benefited Chris Webber. Allen shot 500 less times this past year as opposed to his inaugural season in Dallas. I think he's a definite solid 2 or maybe even 1 scoring option on some teams. Age isn't a huge factor to me with someone like Ray
10. Grant Hill-
SF 6'8'' 225 33
Grades
A- B+ C+ B+ C+ C
Hill is like a fine Wine, gets better with age. He's the Small forward version of Shaquille O'neal. Still can get it done but is getting older. He gets you 30 a night while still playing good defense . He's gotten better over the past 4 years, productivity not dropping a notch. He shot 49% from the field this past year along while shooting 45% from beyond the arc. His 88% mark from the line isn't to shabby either.
