Kings Gugliotta Arrested

The Sacramento Bee has learned that backup PF Tom Gugliotta; known as Googs to his teammates and fans was arrested early this morning in Montauk NY. Gugliotta was said to have been visiting friends and family and attending his father Frank’s funeral in his hometown of Huntington Station, NY which is about an hour and forty-five minute drive south of Montauk.
Witnesses have told local law enforcement that they saw the 6’10” big man dumping two bodies off Gosman Dock near The Inlet Café. Florida state police believe this could be in connection to missing model Paris Nichole, who was abducted around day 65 of TMBSL 04/05 season, which would put the Kings and Gugliotta in Orlando playing the Magic. Nichole or Taco Bell Girl as she is affectionately known as on the internet has now been missing for 40 days. Law enforcement has also shared that Gugliotta’s wife Nikki is also missing, and is believed to be the second body.
The Kings organization as declined to make a formal statement but did cut Gugliotta from their roster just a short time ago, but long time friend and former teammate at North Carolina State who has asked to stay anonymous has said this.
“Tom (Gugliotta) is one of the most caring and loving people I have had the chance to know, I find it shocking that this is even in question. He (Gugliotta) has gone through some rough times dating back to 1993 the year after he was drafted, Wolfpack coach Jim Valvano passed away from cancer. In Dec, of 1999 he collapsed talking to his wife, Tom was having sleeping problems and taking an aid with a drug known as GBL which caused heart failure if it wasn’t for teammate Rex Chapman he would have been dead. Starting in training camp of this season there were rumors that Nikki was cheating on him and things just hit him hard and he had that bout with severe depression. Maybe this was the breaking point I don’t know but I’ll be praying for him and his family”
The locals of Montauk and law enforcement have teamed up to search for these bodies and we will continue to update you if any further news is brought ahead.
