I really do not understand this trade for the Bucks... He picks up Finley's 4 year $28 Mil contract + he gets Shaq as a rental and isn't even in the playoff hunt... ? I mean if Shaq gives him a chance to resign him great, but if not... you traded E Barkley, Langdon and a 15-20 1st round pick for Finley with a bad contract...

Don't get me wrong, if Shaq had like 2 or 3 years on his deal this would be an AMAZINGLY GOOD trade for trophie, but if Shaq doesn't give him the chance to resign him, this really doesn't do much for him, am I missing something?

I think it just shows that there are benefits to both sides of this deal. Barkley and Langdon aren't really worth much at all, most people would say Barkley has a contract nearly as bad as Finley. The 1st isn't worth nearly as much if Shaq and Finley are still on the Wizards, so that 1st in Trofies possession isn't worth much. He's obviously taking the chance that Shaq resigns for a huge payoff.

I think this deal is p fair all around.

You can't expect a huge haul for players that are about to hit the FA market. Its not like RL where if you were Trofie you make this deal if Shaq re-up's. In that case the Wiz get more in return and Trofie is guaranteed Shaq for a few years.

Trofie is taking a huge risk. And Clown didn't get much in return.

Tru, idk, I mean I guess w/o shaq on the wiz that pick's value goes up cuz he should drop out of the post season race and end up as a lottery pick, probably around 10. DIdn't realize the other contracts 20, that makes it not seem as bad taking on finley

I made the moved basing it on Shaq resigning. Finley's contract sucks but so does barkleys and I needed a good/decent SG. So he now starts for me.
