Strengths
Strong offenisve game inside. Great size and strength. Rafael is a very aggressive rebounder and he gives it his all on both ends of the floor. His weight and strength allow him to hold his spot in the post very well, make him a solid defender down low. Great passion.
Weakness[/u]
Not very athletic. Lacks good quickness or leaping ability which means he does not block many shots for a 6'11 big man. Sometimes he can be overly aggressive and gets into early foul trouble. Araujo was dominated by Emeka Okafor in the NCAA tournament which has some scouts thinking he will struggle against elite big guys.
Scout's Take[/u]
Solid, not spectacular big man prospect who will play hard and do all the dirty work for your team. If he can rein in some of his passion and aggressiveness he has the potential to be a double-double guy from the center spot. Mid to late 1st.
