Strengths
A pure scorer. Martin was one of the best scorers in the country the last two seasons in college and had nothing left to prove so he has decided to jump into the league. Martin is a proficient inside scorer and gets to the line about 10 times per game in college. He finishes well inside and shoots a good percentage from the line. Hid midrange game is strong as well, but his outside shot could use some work. Also has a long frame which will give him the ability to defend multiple positions, although he isn't a strong defender.
Weakness
Has a rail thin body which leaves some scouts questioning how he will be able to handle a full season and also if he will be able to defend bigger wings from the opponent. Although he takes a lot 3s, he didn't make a lot shooting 33 and 31 percent the last two years in college. Doesn't possess many skills outside of scoring at this point.
Scout's Take
Martin is a pretty cut and dry case. He is a scorer, pure and simple. He has the ability to score in this league, but can he do much else? That is up for debate. If he can work on the other facets of his game and develop defensively, he has the potential to do big things in the league. Worst case he will be a pretty good scorer. Early to late teens.
