Age-18 Height- 6'10 Weight- 240 Position- PF Former Team- Cypress Creak HS (FL) StrengthsStoudemire is simply a specimen. Very strong player who is also blessed with amazing jumping ability. Couple that with his explosive first step that rivals no one in the NBA right now this talented high school senior could be something very special. WeaknessStoudemire is very raw. Much like Nene, Amar'e also didn't start playing organized basketball until he was 14 and he also only played two years of high school basketball. Stoudemire also has a shady background and upbringing as his mother was in and out of prison and had no father image. His offensive game is limited to simply dunks right now and on defense he hasn't learned the correct defensive ethic to put to use the talented abilities he has. Scout's TakeThis is an interesting prospect. He is currently committed to Memphis right now but some NBA and College insiders believe that won't stick and he will be forced to enter the NBA draft to help his poor family. He's got some major off-court issues that will need to be looked as. He takes plays off on defense and doesn't have much of an offensive game right now but all that still will not remove him from being a top 10 to even top 5 pick for a gm. RatingsA- D+ C- C- C A

Saw this cat play in High School, in a tourney that my school was at he got the ball at the top of the key, took 1 dribble and threw it down over like 3 people... shit was just not fair. An unreal athlete, too bad he doesn't care about defense...

He plays little defense as a 27 year old, why should he be solid at 18?

Definitely agree with Amare's ratings. He's a great offensive player, but seriously lacking on the defensive side.
Hope this thing takes into account his great FT shooting and mid-range game.

so if they're undeclared, are they not going to be in next years? Or could they still?

They could declare by the end of the season. It's just saying at this present time, he hasn't declared.

I would love a scorer like this if I had a team.

He's being funny since he went all defense and is lacking the offense currently.
