I don't think anyone has less then 10 players :twocents: Maybe it just seems that way, but I can't check because the rosters aren't updated for today yet. Either way, whether teams have 2 players or 14 players there should not be a first come first serve basis. It cheapens the entire point of the league. I dunno, if the player pool had anything worth a damn maybe. But I seriously don't care which 2 guys I end up with. |

Well all other free agencys will be based on a bidding process via the game. However following the creation draft, there is no bidding phase, so it skips directly into the regular season. Which is why we are doing a first come - first serve basis for this FA. All the other FA's will have bidding. |

I am sorry but that is ridiculous. That ruins the whole process. That is not realistic at all. It is already bad enough all these teams have made 15 trades a piece and ended up with only 6-8 man rosters and no future firsts, but now to reward them by changing things and letting them forfeit picks and then have some sort of first come first serve process makes it so this isn't close to real life. This isn't real life, it's a sim league lol. That's how we are doing it, so get used to it. Anyway, the remaining FA list sucks, there's really not many guys I want. Right and a sim is supposed to mimic real life... If this is not supposed to be as realistic as we can make it why do this? |

But for the very first year following the Creation draft, there is no FA bidding period. So instead, we are doing a first come first serve basis of signing the remaining horrible free agents. |

I think we need shit updated because I understand what Ripper is trying to say.
But honestly there is nothing on the market worth bidding but we can't tell because nothing is updated and the player pool is a mess.
What needs to be done
Matt updates player pool
we get our FA's
Then Matt updates everything else.
We can then make our Depth Charts
and start the year

The issue is that it is 1. not realistic and 2. a reward for a few people to forfeit picks and then based on having nothing to do tomorrow getting to pick who they want. Also, it was not presented as an option (or a no bid process) when people were trading and setting up to not have full rosters. |
