Did we ever get like a mock draft type thing posted on how these drafts roughly go? Like from one of Mops' old leagues or something?

That is the entire point of the league. Plus, the other league didn't start with 2001 so they weren't even drafting the same players, and their rankings were probably different. |

Duncan has a B potential wtf His didn't change I don't think. He was always a B, wasn't he? Yes, and it's because he is already rated pretty high. Potential isn't like overall what they can reach, it is how much left they will improve. Duncan will be an "A" player, but his potential is only B because he is already really good. It's likely because he is 26 and some of the other guys are like 18-21 who get A potential, they are going to improve more |

We have been having an issue with a couple young guys having F potential. First, it was Mehmet Okur and Charlie Bell with F potential as 22 year olds. So Mops went in to fix that issue, and that is how some other players potential ratings changed. And then it also changed Troy Murphy, Joe Johnson, and Vlad Rad to F potential as young guys. So now we would want to fix those guys. But if changing these guys ratings is going to keep fucking up the top guys ratings while the draft is already going, it isn't worth it to me. We could just deal with a few of the young guys having shit potential. No one will draft them and then they will be out of the league in a few seasons. We need to have all the ratings as final ratings, so if that causes a couple young guys to have a bad potential rating, that might be what we have to deal with. Having guys ratings changing while the draft has already started is out of the question, IMO. |
