Sounds great. Damn Poetic I didn't realize you were going to go that far back. I barely know anything from back then, but I guess that might be good. Give people a chance to look at attributes more than names. You'll have the big names of course but a lot of people won't know who half those guys are. |

Welcome! sounds good Jo. I'm actually working on a 2nd league for everyone which will start with a 1990 creation draft. I just gotta stop being lazy and make the player file. Only 15 players done so far...lol A new league would be cool but I hope it wouldn't take away anything from this league. I guess in-season it isn't a whole lot of work though... |

It's really not during the season. Only time it gets crazy is the trade deadline and off-season. Think of all the free time while waiting for a sim. Most people could focus on 2 leagues only having teams to worry about. I don't expect everyone to come over to the 2nd league, but there is genuine interest from a lot here and we could fill the rest with the huge pool we have in TMB.
It's far off too, not rushing it.

I doubt everyone in the league does the 1990 one as well, so some teams will be available for those who want to switch. We'll figure that out down the road.

Poetic will you have a team? I strongly suggest dp not.
This is a good time frame as these leagues won't match up. I also suggest you talk to ducky ands see if he would post a link in his league.
I also suggest we put the league on this board. It would prevent anyone from forgetting either team if they had double.

No I'm not going to participate, just going to run the league. My team in your league will be my only one. I wouldn't mind doing it here if you want. Would be kinda screwy with people's avatars if they have 2 different teams though.

I think having both leagues on this board would be pretty confusing. Two different Pacers GMs, Blazers GMs, etc? Getting PMs about guys from both teams in the same box?
Where would all the Rosters, Standings, League Leaders links go for both leagues? Having two of those links could be confusing. Seems like it would be hard to forget you have a team, and if they did have teams in both, they could always be contacted on this board to be reminded of the other one or vice versa.
I don't see what the downside of having another board for that league would be.

Having both leagues on the same board is great for activity which I think Matt was getting at, but yeah... might be too confusing overall. I'm not too good with html. But I'm sure we could have the links to 1 league on the left and the links to the 2nd league on the right side.
