Why did it change? When was the notice? It changed without any warning despite asking on the board about it and I specifically asked in PM if it was changing and the answer was no. Then it changed so that even with just the draft and no trades you would be over the cap.
Kind of a big difference without any notice at all. Even more considering the exact opposite was said.
Also, the roster page still works off of the cap being $29 million.

Well I mean how were people even supposed to know it happened? The first mention was in the Celtics Nets trade. I mean I posted and PMd asking specifically and the answer was it would not change and thus would not really be a consideration for a couple years. The cap as set now means everyone would be over. I just don't think something like that should change after the draft and especially to a level like this which puts everyone over. Also on the rosters page it still is using $29 million as the cap limit.

I didn't really pay attention since the salaries never seemed accurate, I figured he was still working on it.

No I want to know what is going on and know the rules and not have them changed without any notice. Especially when it is something that had been asked about and assured that it would not change. If I am going to spend hours on something like this I don't want stuff like this changing up in secret. Not everyone has as much time with nothing to do like you dump and I don't want to waste my time with something and not even know what is going on.

BTW the reason I asked twice about whether the cap would change was because of the original salary structure and the issue with adding forfeiting picks and then a first come first serve FA which altered how salaries and the cap would work. I am not sure how other people wouldn't want answers as to what is going on.
