what is going on with the caps and salaries? It looks like the cap was changed in July 8th down to $35 million. Is that the case? I remember it being $45 million and asked about it in July 3rd and it was said it wouldn't be changed and thus really wouldn't be a consideration for a couple years. Also $35 million is not the cap my roster page is even operating with. I think only two of my players have correct contracts anyway.

Not sure how Hart would be different than a vet FA since he was a vet FA...heh
Oh well, I'd have to sign another player to get to 12 anyway.

Cap is 35 million. This season it doesn't matter as there will be no FA's. Next season it will go up to 40 million. Following season it will go up to 45 million when there are FA's to spend on.

Did that change from what was stated during and immediately following the draft? When will contracts be updated? Why is the $35 million cap not what is calculated in the roster pages even with the incorrect contracts. |
