What Do You Want?

Hopefully this poll wont be needed. And somehow some way Poetic finds a way to save his cpu and the sim league.

But if he can not. What would you like to happen.

Option 1: Start the 1990 league. We would have to pick teams, wait a few days/weeks for player profiles to be made, do a creation draft (very long process) and then be forced to have 3 Free Agent classes that are worthless before the league gets fun.

Option 2: We try to recreate this league. Probably have to replay this year out from the beginning. Would take the same time as the 1990 league to recreate the player profiles. Not sure what would be done about rosters that have been changed mid season.


Please vote so we have an idea what the GM's of this league want. Most of the time the more active members of the sim that live in shout get most say. This is a chance for everyone to speak up or vote up :idk:

This league.

It's a ton more work to start over.

Creation drafts are absurd for us and a huge pain in the ass for poe.

It wastes all the work we all put into our teams here.

My issue with starting this league over is what happens with the traded players. Its not fair to have these current roster play out the entire season. Do we put back the original rosters at the start of the year and then put the trades in as they were made? Do we void all deals? Do we just start from the playoffs? Do we skip this year and move to off season and have it be a lost year?

Both options have there issues

It's why I got this poll up. Lets pick a direction then start making the players.

Its going to take a few days so we could get players done by the time Poetic gets a final answer on his cpu.

Poe should be able to save his HD and all his files so this is all probably a pointless discussion.

I am 100% against recreating this league if poe can't save the file. That isn't even a realistic option unless poe/matt/someone has the EXACT ratings each player had. Not just their grades but their exact ratings in each category. Trying to recreate players based soley on the letter grades we see would be a joke because as we've all seen the same 2 players could have the exact same height, weight, age and grades and be vastly different players.

Unless we save the current league file exactly the way it is the only thing I'd be down for is starting fresh. 1990's league seems to be the best way to go.

ITT shit teams try to justify wanting a reset button. If it's not fair for the traded players to play out an entire ONE season, how fair is it to have 29 whole new rosters play out an entire SEVEN new seasons?
