Fuck starting over from scratch, lets wait until poe has more news before deciding anything. We'd still need to sort out how many owners we have to replace anyways, I'd imagine we've lost quite a few already.

People that are in favor of starting over from a 90's league needs to get a fucking clue. Remember that 4 day creation draft? Remember 4 months of dead FA? If you think your current team sucks because you screwed up and want a bailout reset button you need to look at the creation Bucks team, no matter how badly your current situation sucks, it couldn't have been worse than that.
Stop bitching and make better decisions on how to manage your team instead of wanting the easy way out.

Id rather just start from 1990 as well not really about my team sucking but I dont think it will be as bad as last time because people will understand what theyre doing and what problems we will have and be able to nip them before they happen. But whatever. Ill keep checking to see what happens Im cool with whateve I guess thats just my preference.

How is a 4 day creation draft and a dead 4 month FA in anyway enjoyable? It has nothing to do with people "knowing what to do" or not, a 12 round draft is still a 12 round draft and 4 years of offering Ron Mercer contracts in FA is still contracts to Ron Mercer.

I would prefer a 1990s league personally, not because my team sucks, it has sucked all but 1 season, I don't want to get into created players this early. We only have a few drafts using players that actually exist IRL and I didn't really ever want use fake players to begin with. As far as replacing owners, if we do a 1990s league I think Supa would come back. 1 of the reasons he quit was becuase we were going to start a 1990s league and he didn't want to do both because of work. I may have a couple more too, if we can't get guys from TMB. But it will be easier to grab guys for a new league than to add guys to this one. What ever we decide is fine with me. I'm not quitting this league either way.

I am also in for the 1990 league.
Like I said before I can help create players and whatever else needs to be done.
It took 1 person 50 hours to do all players. If we have Poetic, Ian and I all working on it we can knock it out much faster. Just keep sharing the file imo.

No time table on my PC, I plan to take it to a couple places on Saturday and will go from there.
If you guys want to start a new league, by all means that's your choice. I do not have access to the 1990 league file though as it's on my PC. You'd have to create it from scratch.

Just keep sharing the file imo. lol it doesn't fucking work that like, not like every time someone sends someone a new ONE player that file gets immediately added to the master file. Draft classes work because there is an "export draft file" option on the software, the rest have to be manually added by ONE person. |
