After being kicked off the Boston College team 15 games into the season, Williams finds himself at a crossroads. In the games he played this season, he showed improved touch around the basket, however this is an area he is still raw in. His FT% also improved, but he lacks any semblance of a perimeter jump shot. Sean is a freak athlete that can get up and down the court with the best of them, always active on fast breaks. The entire reason a team would gamble a draft pick on Williams is his freakish ability to block shots. At 5.0 BPG at the time of his dismissal, Williams is a difference maker in every way on defense. Unfortunately for how advanced he is at blocking shots, it makes it puzzling he is such a mediocre rebounder. Naturally explosive and decisive in protecting the rim, he is tentative and lethargic on the glass, routinely losing loose balls and rebounds to players he shouldn't have to break a sweat to overpower.
