It all comes down to this. Pistons vs Wizards for the top pick. The Wizards were the favorite heading into the lottery, but that was with their own pick. They got unlucky as that pick fell to #4. Were they saved by the Spurs?

The Pistons figured to be a playoff team out East this year, but a nightmare season ended with them having one of the worst records in the league. Not owners of their first pick, they jumped into the top 3 by having the Bucks 1st rounder.
