The first round picks are 22 and 27 currently. I wasn't going to hit the hard cap over Caron Butler and some scrub late 1st round picks. I made the choice that i was not keeping Nene or Caron long term.
So in all my deals I have sent 4 mid to late 1st round picks, Caron and Nene, plus 10m in horrible contracts for Michael Redd, Kevin Garnett and Gerald Green. I have turned my team from bottom 3 in sim league to top 10 and still managed to keep my self under the soft cap.
You guys give me some shit but I now have 2 of the top 25 players in the league along with beeds, livingston, horford and now green to play a supporting role.

We're not giving u shit for your current team make up, you're giving u shit for how much u had to pay for it. And I think I made a pretty clear case on how you guys are overrating on how much I really did spend. KG is a top 10-15 player Redd is a top 15-25 player They both are 100x what Caron and Nene are or are going to be. The 4 picks are all going to be mid 20's. What "super star" are you going to pick up at 22, 23, 24 in the draft? none. So I moved the 24th pick and the 27th pick for Gerald Green who has a nice grade set for a 19 yo. I don't think I could get much better then that. And I was not getting any player near his talent if I kept those picks. Bottom line is normally if you don't get a lotto pick then your rookie in nothing more then a bench player and in some cases he will ride the pine for 3-5 years then get dropped. Anyways I am done defending my actions. Time will tell if I made good moves or bad. Hate on or dont hate its all <3

Just because you don't think they were "superstars"....he said he would have given KG for free. Just needed to find 15m in expiring contracts and he was yours. And you still have Nene and three role players. Or three firsts you can package to improve. They had value.
Not saying whether your team's better or worse off than it was, just that it could have been in a LOT better shape if you skipped the Zo step.
