I used my player ratings and created a weighting system to determine player importance. I found roughly 40% of the points/rebounds/assists come from the two most important players on each team. As you go down in player importance (even among starters) their impact goes down.
I then tried to do my own Pythagorean formula for wins/losses (stat nerds will know what I mean) using these totals.
My result is kinda simple, but these formulas took me over two hours to perfect. The final records aren't exact matches since rounding took place, but nobody lost more than .2 wins.
Also, you bastards making trades today fucked with this whole thing. But I edited it still.
I bolded playoff teams.
