360 here. And you guys gotta remember that 2k's relatively new rating system is such that the players' overall rating is more of a reflection on how complete a player he is rather than how he might affect a game. so Korver with his shitty rating will still do what he does and knock down a bunch of 3s, he just won't play any D and won't take the ball to the hole. That's what I meant. I didn't play the demo this year, I have faith in 2K that the game will rock. I've bought it every year since 2005, best NBA video game out there.

Just felt a little strange, players start and stop weird, slide around. When you go to change directions it takes like a second before they even move. :idk:
I usually just play the mode where you create a player and play that position only, I really enjoy it.

fyi, I thought 2k's demo blew ass last year and the Live demo was flawless but demo's aren't the final product.
I rented Live and it sucked balls and 2k turned out to as great as ever!

Has anyone tried My Player yet? is it still fucked up? I tried to pick up the game last night but my local shop didn't have a copy and I didn't want to drive around.
Gonna get it in a few hours. Thinking I'll start off with the Jordan challenges to get the shoes, then jump into My Player.

I started a My Player with at 7'1" C and he's a freaking bad ass. In my 2nd game had 28 points, 15 rebound(10 Off), 4 blocks and 4 assists. This year you start off in the combine with 3 games to build up your draft stock. You have 10,000 starting skill points to start off with and 6 drills & 3 games to improve you're guy. After 2 games and all my drills my guy is only a 44 overall but I'm projected to be the 11th overal pick. I guess they take perfomance in these games as more of a measuring stick than they're ratings. IMO it's a lot easier to play defense in My Player with the new game play because guys can't just go right through you and passes get deflected a lot if they're in traffic. It seems to be working well though.
